Welcome! My name is Holly and I'm an artist from the Pacific Northwest - born and raised in the Willamette Valley, Oregon.

My preferred medium is currently watercolor, but I also enjoy acrylics, ink drawing, and calligraphy. My work is colorful and often described as whimsical, with a focus on feminine energies, fungi, and "dream-scapes".

My art has granted me countless opportunities and a whole slew of enduring relationships. Living in Corvallis, OR there was once a time when I was running two local studios, promoting the Corvallis Arts Walk, volunteering for multiple local non-profits, and running the social media pages for all of them - All while working a full-time job and trying to promote my own artwork - I thrived in the chaos! Then the pandemic hit, and everything was suddenly halted.

I realized then that I needed to reprioritize. Being stuck at home, I was making more artwork than I had time for before - The difference this time was that I was making it for myself. There were no longer any deadlines to meet or events to promote. I felt a rush of new inspiration.

It was then that my gallery partner, Sharon Rackham King, and I decided to close our little gallery, the Hold Studio. I resigned from my role on the Corvallis Arts Walk committee and made the decision to work on art for myself again. I returned to my art as a comfort and, though I will be forever grateful for the opportunities and relationships I formed during that wild time, I never looked back! Now, I may have stepped away from those big committees and galleries, but I am always open to new opportunities and projects. ;)

Most recently, in early 2022, my husband and I moved to beautiful Bend, OR! My goals and priorities may have changed but the need to create remains steady… Not a day goes by that I don’t work on something new! The sunshine and high desert landscape has only just begun to inspire and I’m looking forward to all of the new opportunity that Central Oregon has to offer.

You can keep up with all the craziness by following me on Instagram! In the meantime, here's a summary of past exhibits and accomplishments:
