Welcome! My name is Holly and I'm an artist from the Pacific Northwest - born and raised in the Willamette Valley, Oregon. My preferred medium is acrylic but I also enjoy watercolor, ink drawing, and calligraphy. My work is colorful and often described as whimsical, with a focus on feminine energies and "dream-scapes". Most of my skills are self-taught. I did take art classes in high school (which is when I fell in love with acrylics) but stopped painting for a several years post-grad.

It took some soul-searching, but I finally picked up a brush again - and I haven't set it down since! In April of 2016 I joined VOICES Gallery on the Corvallis Arts Walk and I fell in love with the Corvallis art scene. Voices and CAW have created more opportunities for me than I can count, and I enjoy it so much!

In October 2017, Sharon Rackham King (fellow Voices member) and I joined forces to open The Hold Studio and we became our own destination on the Corvallis Arts Walk! Usually, we display our own work, but we will occasionally host guest artists.

When I'm not painting, I run the social media accounts for The Hold, Corvallis Arts Walk, and the Benton County Cultural Coalition. I also enjoy volunteering with The Arts Center and, every spring, I work as the curator and auction item procurement manager for Art is Wild (a benefit for Chintimini Wildlife Center).  I like to volunteer and meet new people, but I also enjoy hanging out at home with my husband and two cats. :)

You can keep up with all of the craziness by following me on Facebook and Instagram. In the meantime, here's a summary of recent exhibits and accomplishments:
